The application will help you assess a neonates need for phototherapy using the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines.

With a few simple clicks the calculator provides you with a clear “yes” or “no” answer as to whether phototherapy is required.

The calculator then goes even further and actually plots the bilirubin level on the AAP nomogram, with the infant’s risk line clearly marked.

The application is internationally friendly allowing the bilirubin level to be entered using either mg/dL or μmol/L and has the option to calculate the infants age at the time the blood sampling

App not starting
Its crashing on iOS 9. I want my money back!!!!
Well done … A joy to use
I really like the app, it straightforward to use and the option of displaying the graph is a nice feature.
The best phototherapy calculator ever!
This is by far the best Phototherapy Calculator I have used both on and off the iphone. This well designed calculator makes what can be quite a difficult task very simple. The most useful feature here and what sets it apart from other Phototherapy Calculators is that this application actually plots the bilirubin level on the AAP nomogram!! This is how healthcare professionals are all used to viewing the data and making decisions from the plotted value on the graph (you can see how close you are to the phototherapy line rather that trying to interpret a range). Well done! The calculator also clearly marks which of the 3 lines on the AAP graph that you should use based on the babys risk and works out the age of the baby at the time of blood sampling (two less calculation to do). Without any doubt my favourite and most useful app to date. A must for anyone who needs to assess a newborn babys need for phototherapy. Will definitely reduce errors and save time. Well done!
Brillant App
Plotting the bilirubin on the AAP chart is a great idea. A must for any pediatrician, neonatal nurse, midwife or medical student.
NNP
Easy to use, but it crashes after 3 to 4 data inputs., not really good, when you need it.. They need to improve the app to work better!!
